Michael Daley to Visit

We are excited to welcome author Michael J. Daley (www.michaeljdaley.com) to Bridport.  He will be working with students in grades K - 6 from March 12th through the 14th.  Michael has a love for science fiction and solar power. The DCF book Space Station Rat is just one of his many publications.  He will be instructing students in grades 3-6 in the writing of nonfiction and will be sharing his Pinch and Dash stories with kindergarten, first and second grade.  Students will share their writing at an All School Meeting on Thursday, March 14th at 1:30.  We are so grateful to The Children's Literacy Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to inspiring a love of reading and writing in young children, for sponsoring this writing residency.  Check out their website at http://clifonline.org.
